As an integral member of the Senior Management Team, your key objective will be to partner effectively with various stakeholders to deliver comprehensive HR and WHS processes and support services that have practical, positive, business related outcomes. You will do this whilst influencing, mentoring and providing hands on support to teams across multiple sites nationally. As such, a small degree of interstate travel will be required.

With relevant tertiary qualifications, your ability to effectively communicate, problem solve, influence and build credible relationships at all levels within the business will be critical to your success. In addition, you must be an excellent communicator, strong influencer and effective problem solver with a sound commercial awareness. A keen customer service focus and goal orientation will complement your proactive, common sense approach and ‘can do’ attitude.

This is a newly designed role reporting to the Manager, WHS and an integral member of a highly capable Safety, Workers Compensation and Injury Management team. Your key objective will be to partner effectively with stakeholders across multiple sites to develop and implement workplace injury and illness prevention strategies and programs which facilitate continuous improvement in the management of Health & Safety, with a particular focus on key business risks such as ergonomics, staff health, manual handling and task analysis. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work on broader WHS team projects.

Ideally, we seek an Occupational Therapist or someone with a similar Allied Health background who has, or is currently completing, further Safety qualifications or has a desire to do so. A current valid NSW driver’s license and the ability to travel to both metro and regional areas on occasion is essential.

Your ability to effectively communicate, problem solve, influence and build credible relationships at all levels of the business will be critical to your success. Further, you must be a results-oriented professional who combines a hands-on approach with a strong customer focus. Above all else, you are motivated to excel and achieve great results in your work!
