Working autonomously, but as an integral member of a broader national WHS team, your key objective will be to partner effectively with various stakeholders to deliver comprehensive WHS and RTW processes and support services that have practical, positive, business related outcomes. Further, you will facilitate ownership of WHS and RTW issues and effective WHS leadership and engagement at all levels. You will do this whilst influencing, mentoring and providing hands on support to teams across multiple sites.
With relevant tertiary qualifications, your ability to effectively communicate, problem solve, influence and build credible relationships at all levels within the business will be critical to your success. Resilience, a keen customer focus and goal orientation will complement your proactive, common sense approach and ‘can do’ attitude.

WHS & HR Administrator - Sydney West

This leading, innovative organisation manufactures a range of high-tech products used in industrial, commercial and domestic applications. As a group, they have an established sales and distribution network across Australasia and it’s an exciting time to join.
Reporting to the HR Manager and as an integral member of a small, highly capable HR team, your key objective will be to administer and co-ordinate the full range of HR and Safety functions, including such things as conducting risk assessments, developing SOP’s and overseeing return to work and workers compensation.
With qualifications in either HR or Safety or studying towards completion of such, you must be super organised, pragmatic, have great attention to detail, and demonstrate an achievement orientation. Ideally, you will have one or two years’ experience in either safety or human resources, however this is not essential.
Whilst experience tells a story, the right attitude speaks louder still. As important will be common sense, confidence, maturity, the ability to make sound judgments, and the ability to build effective relationships. You must also be an outcomes focused, results oriented professional with a strong customer focus.
