Working autonomously in this newly created role, but with support from a broader, highly capable state based team, your key objective will be to partner effectively with various stakeholders to deliver comprehensive WHS processes and support services that have practical, positive, business related outcomes. Further, you will facilitate ownership of WHS issues and effective WHS leadership and engagement at all levels. You will do this whilst influencing, mentoring and providing hands on support to teams across multiple sites.

With relevant qualifications, your ability to effectively communicate, problem solve, influence and build credible relationships at all levels within the business will be critical to your success. Experience tells a story but the right attitude speaks louder still. As important will be a keen customer service focus, goal orientation and motivated approach. A sense of humour is a must – as is the willingness to travel to various sites within NSW.

Safety Reporting & Performance Analyst - Sydney $100K + neg

Reporting to the Head of Safety Director Work Health Safety, your key objective will be to support operational leaders and deliver WHS and Workers Compensation performance monitoring and reporting, data quality and data analytics programs that enable the business to make critical safety-related decisions. You will partner with stakeholders to understand risk management reporting requirements and design and create bespoke reports that analyse results on performance and provide insight into emerging trends. In addition, you will partner with the business to understand process challenges and identify appropriate reporting solutions and opportunities.

It’s an exciting time to join as they develop and implement a new vendor software platform and you will be an integral member of the project team. As such, you must have had previous experience in this regard. With relevant qualifications incorporating data analytics and / or database management ideally, you will also have a customer first approach and an eagerness to continually improve data quality and reporting. You will have an analytical mindset, along with business acumen and commercial pragmatism to translate data to support business needs. A background in Workplace Health & Safety would be beneficial although is not essential. What is essential is advanced skills in Excel and digital documentation systems.
